How long does it take for Washington mutual bank to change your address?
October 2, 2008 - My boyfriend went to the bank today and changed his address but he forgot to ask the guy how long it would take until it was effective. how long do you think it would take? Because on the paper it said "Please allow 7 days for processing"?
if he did that at the branch, the address change is real time-effective immediately. in fact, even if it is done through online banking or the telephone the address is effective right away. to confirm this try calling their customer service, the new address is already reflected. and i'm pretty sure coz i work for the bank
- If it said allow seven days, then it probably takes up to seven days. I would say around 4-5.
- Gee, you seem to already know the answer since it was clearly spelled out in writing! Sounds like 7 days to me.

i read on a magazine an article that said that internet banks offer as much as 5% interest on a savings account. is this true and how can they do that? are internet banks safe to use?. internet banks don't have the overhead of branches - building, staff, etc. -
